XAT exam pattern (Xavier Aptitude Test )

XAT 2013 will be a major update in the model. The document is divided into two parts. The first part has three sections, data interpretation and quantitative ability, verbal ability and logical and analytical reasoning and decision making. This section would have 85 to 95 questions.
The second part of the paper is composed of two categories of questions, essay writing and general awareness. The duration of the two questions would be 20 minutes. The number of general issues of awareness is 25 to 30. The general knowledge questions will be from business, economics and politics for the business environment.
XAT format is pencil on paper.

Duration: - 3 hours.

The examination will consist of two parts.
The first part will be multiple choice questions on the three sections namely data interpretation and quantitative ability, analytical reasoning and decision-making and verbal ability and logical.
Time measured in hours allocated for 2:20.
The next part will be the dissertation and the general awareness section and time is set for 40 minutes.
